Founder, President
Originally trained in electronics by the US Navy, John Carpenter has become a recognized pioneer of Smart Manufacturing and industrial automation. His groundbreaking work led to the development of the world's first wireless DNC connection to a machine tool in 2001, revolutionizing how manufacturers connect and manage their equipment. With over three decades of experience in machine tool networking, John founded Macdac Engineering's successor WireFreeCNC in 2002, which evolved into Excellerant in 2018. His vision of simplifying manufacturing technology has guided the company's development of comprehensive IIoT solutions that make Industry 4.0 accessible to facilities of all sizes. Under his leadership, Excellerant has grown from a single-product wireless DNC provider to a full-service automation solutions company serving manufacturers across the United States and Canada. John's deep understanding of both legacy and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies enables Excellerant to deliver truly universal connectivity solutions.

Director of Technical Operations
With over 20 years of manufacturing and operations experience, Brian Duprey brings invaluable real-world insight to every customer integration project.
